Alica has been an integral part of the Fund Administration team since joining IPM in 2018 from Circle Partners.
Alica had previously gained extensive experience within the fund administration industry, taking care of a full suite of periodic maintenance and support functions for established investment managers, and also assisting those launching start-up funds.
Alica gained her first international experience at the Global Banking School in London where she worked as a marketing and administrative intern to a Senior Investment Banker from HSBC New York, while also completing her bachelor’s studies. Alica supported the marketing and administrative department handling marketing research, social media, administration, communication with corporate clients and co-workers, as well as the sales and organisation of Global Banking School meetings and events.
After completing her bachelor’s studies and her time with the Global Banking School, Alica moved to the Netherlands to study International Business and Management Studies at Fontys University of Applied Sciences, as part of her overall master’s studies. While in the Netherlands, she became familiar with Dutch culture and values which is what motivated her to start her professional career with Circle Partners, the international fund administration services provider with a significant presence in the Netherlands.
Alica has also interned at coLanguage in Spain, an international start-up in the field of professional language courses based in Valencia, Ghent and Munich, where she focused on online marketing. While at coLanguage, Alica enhanced her knowledge in online marketing, copywriting, branding, social media, operations management and international business.
Alica holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree from the University of Economics, Bratislava, and is fluent in English and Slovak.
