Renata works as IPM’s Legal counsel since 2019.
She is responsible for the preparation of M&A transaction documents, opinions and other legal documents. She closely manages legal talks with state authorities and ensures a full legal compliance with the applicable rules and regulations in our target markets.
Prior to joining IPM, Renata worked at the Slovak Ministry of Finance where she gained her legal expertise in financing from the European funds and other financial instruments of the EU working as a specialised fund lawyer.
Further than carrying out the tasks related to coordination of financial management, Renata was also part of the negotiation process of the legislation package for Cohesion policy 2021 – 2027 period in the meetings of the working party for structural measures of the EU Council in Brussels.
Renata also actively participated in numerous professional conferences and workshops around Europe on topics such as state aid, public procurement, financial control and audit. In the past, Renata worked as an associate in multiple Slovak law firms dealing with corporate and intellectual property laws.
Renata obtained her master’s degree in law at the University of Pavol Jozef Safarik in Slovakia and in her university, time also attended legal courses in Oxford.
Renata is fluent in English, Spanish and Slovak.
