Sebin started his career at the advisory division of the Korea infrastructure desk of Ernst & Young where he delivered advisory services to various strategic investors (such as GS E&C, Posco, SK E&C, Daelim Industrials and Hyundai E&C) and financial institutions (such as Korea Development Bank and Standard Chartered Bank). After E&Y, Sebin worked at Macquarie Capital in Seoul. At Macquarie, Sebin was actively involved in all aspects of advisory services covering project financing transactions based on the PPP scheme in Korea. Sebin then spent five years working at KB Asset Management, which is one of the largest asset management companies in Korea with AUM of US$ 30bn. During his time at KBAM, Sebin managed around US$ 2bn AUM of infrastructure funds focusing on investments in roads, tunnels, railways and power plants.
Sebin holds a Bachelor degree in Economics from Yonsei University in Seoul. Sebin is a member of the Korean Institute of Certified Public Accountants, a Korean Tax Accountant and a Certified Investment Manager in Korea for the infrastructure asset class. Sebin also passed all sections of the uniform CPA exam in New Hampshire, United States.
